I'm... wordless, really. He was such an icon, such an inspiration...
I currently have the "Bad" CD looping on my iPod, that's the less I can do for the fallen King of Pop. He was so important back in my childhood... ah, the good memories of my big brother and I waiting for "Moonwalker" at midnight when we were still kids... those were the days

I can't say much on the issue. I've never been a fan of his, not as an entertainer nor as human being. Though nobody can dispute he was an icon, that's for sure.

I'm glad he's finally in peace.
The man had no social life. He was 24 when he first began to understand the concept of "friendship". He couldn't go anywhere because of his fame. He couldn't life a normal live. You know... hang around, do stuff outside, experiencing the world etc.
On top of that he had some pretty major childhood traumas. His dad would beat him up bad, real bad. He would also call him Big Nose the rest of his childhood. This resulted in his obsession with noses.
He was also diagnosed with vitiligo and lupus. Both conditions made him sensitive to overexposure to sunlight and lightened his skin tone. To treat both these conditions he had injections directly into his scalp regularly.
It's also said he had body dysmorphic disorder, a psychological condition whereby the sufferer has no concept of how they are perceived by others.
Do I need to go on? Child abuse case, all the medications he had to take, depression, 10 operations on his face, blablabla...
To me that's a pretty f...cked up life.
BTW, the track Human Nature was my favorite. ;D

I heard that today the boy (who is now an adult) who originally accused him of molestation confessed that it never happened, that it was just for the money. For those of you who don't remember, the parties settled out of court to the tune of around $25 million.

He has some cool music, and it's a bit sad that he died, but the media coverage of his death is f...cking ridiculous. He isn't the only person that died in the last 5 days.

Never mind Mays, what about Farrah Fawcett? I mean, she died the same day and nobody noticed!
Poor ex-charlie's angel. Not even with her fame she could get some attention...
