Yes, it's also a couple years old now. Besides, the whole idea is lame. Sure, it's a good effort for a fan movie... but what's the point? A Metal Gear movie would likely to turn out lame if done by experts. This just seems like a massive waste of time.

I don't understand why they didn't use their time and effort into making something original which they could earn money from.

This movie had some surprisingly good things going for it. I'd say well done, and I hope to watch the second half. The color-keying and matte effects were pretty spectacular for this level of production. Also, the cinematographer knew what they were doing pretty well. Great cinematography. Good voiceover dubs, to the point where it wasn't intrusive. The extra bit at the end showing the outtakes was hilarious, I lol'ed at least three times.
