Anyone else a fan?
Honestly, I've been getting more and more into it. And not just the movie, the book. I don't like comics, never been a fan. But this one keeps my interest and I love the depth of it! All the side stories and plot twists, it does an awesome job of establishing the world it lives in.
In many ways, it reminds me of Metal Gear. I like Metal Gear (at least the main games) for the depth and the vast details it offers in terms of plot. And just like Metal Gear, I think that Watchmen elevates itself above its own medium. There are comics, and then there is Watchmen. There are games, and then there is Metal Gear.
I picked up the Absolute Watchmen novel (the most comprehensive one with all the bonus material) and the Ultimate Cut of the movie on Blu-Ray. I also couldn't resist and go the Amazon-special Owl Ship display case for the disks. It lights up and everything.
Anyway, if anyone is into Watchmen, I'm fairly new to it so I would be happy to discuss with the pros!
