New Site - New Generation

I wanted to throw out an idea here to anyone that would want to continue the fansite legacy. As I mentioned, MGF will not be covering any of the new games. I have no interest in them and frankly I think I put in enough time already. But I would love to link up with a site that can continue the coverage and focus on the new games of the series. Peace Walker, Rising, and beyond. Sort of an MGF2. Anyone?

Yeah sure, I'm with you. Although the only game of the series I play is MGS3.

New member here, I usually don't post on forums but I love MGS and I like the design of this site.

That said, I am in the same school of thought as you, A.G.

I love MG1, MG2:SS, and MGS 1-4, but I'm just not interested in the direction they are taking the saga anymore. That said, I'd also like to hear about upcoming games just to keep my ear to the ground in case they ever go back to their stealth roots.

Glad to see more people out there that share my views on the series. I think that the games outside of the main 6 games really loose something. Even Peace Walker, a Kojima game, just didn't have the right feel anymore.

Completely concur with your view. In fact I think it was Monster Hunter mixed into Metal Gear.

Mmmmh... since I'm still going to continue playing them for a while, I guess I'll end up writing a couple of stuff about them in the future...

Dude, try doing fan fiction. I saw one other website that had a load of fantasy sh*t about MG...now that I mention it, I can't recall it.
