Series creator and Peace Walker director Hideo Kojima spoke during a Question & Answer session recording after a podcast in which he took questions from the audience, and answered that very one.
When asked if he has considered doing a sequel to Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (the latest game in the series for the PSP), Kojima stated that due to the success of Peace Walker, he’d like to do a much grander project the next time around.
Then he went into a bit of specifics as far as ideas he has in mind, stating that he’d love to explore the possibility of a game that could be played on console and then transferred to the portable and taken with you. Obviously, such a game would have to be PS3 compatible and then transferable to the PSP . . . Very interesting.
Although he didn’t exactly say that he was working on a sequel, he did state that if he did follow up Peace Walker with a second game, that he’d want that game to be thematically similar to the first one.
So what do you guys think? Should Kojima do another Peace Walker?
