I'm a part of other forums, where the members can swear. Here however, I notice that when I type in a bad word the system changes part of the words I use. Can any staff explain it?

I don't really mind the swear filter. It reveals enough of the word so that people will know what it is.
For example; F...ck. F...cking. Sh*t.
It's kind of like deciphering a foreign language, except a billion times more simple and not special at all.

I can turn it off. back in the day we did have some younger kids here that I knew in the real world. So I didn't want the forum to be offensive.
