Hey Guys. So I'm working on a new section on MGF. It's not ready but I do have about half of it up. It's not connected to the main site yet but I thought you'de enjoy a preview: metalgearforever2.homestead.com/timeline.htmlThis will replace the Timeline in the History section. And yes, MPO is out of the timline if you notice. There will be a part at the end of the timeline that will mention exactly why. The whole thing should be done in a few days. Enjoy!

It looks fantastic, A.G. a lot of new material that I didn't know about since I haven't played the portable games. Very helpful.

That was actually very well done.
But how did you get the high-res pictures for MGS3?? I wish the actual game would be rendered like THAT.
And do you still dislike MPW?

Easy. Hook up your PS2 to an HDTV with component cables. Sharpens everything up nicely! Or just play in the PS3.
My opinion has not changed. Technically, the game is an amazing accomplishment on the PSP. Great amount of content! Conceptually, it's garbage. The story is a waste of time and the mecha design is absolute trash. Kojima completely failed to bridge MGS3 with MG1.

Other thing is, that, you criticise Peace Walker and praise it at the same time? Is that even possible?

What?
I have no idea what you are talking about. When did I blame Kojima and for what?
Why not? I'm talking about two separate aspecsts of the game. Technologically the game is great for a PSP game. The graphics, the sound, the voice acting, the gameplay. All good stuff with a lot of variety. But the story is a completely different issue. It's completely useless and doesn't add anything of value to the overall saga. Plus the mecha design is utter crap. Peace Walker and and Zeke look horrible! They look like a 5-year old designed them!

I noticed something, A.G: Big Boss's name is John, not Jack. 'Ere, from Kojima himself: Also, Hideo Kojima was asked in session 08 of the Kojima Productions Report podcast which helped celebrate the North American release of Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops whether Big Boss' real name was Jack or John. Kojima answered by saying that it could be both, since both names can be applicable, as the name "Jack" in English is the diminutive form of the name "John."
I just checked the podcast myself (is STILL archived, believe it or not... listening to Ryan Payton once again made me a bit nostalgic... and gave me indigestion) and it is true: Kojima did say that.
EDIT 1: Fixed minor typo.
EDIT 2: Oh, found something very minor: You forgot to mention Vamp died on MGS4.
