WARNING - HERE BE SPOILERS (READ AT YOUR OWN RISK)
This assassin guy, Chev, is injected with a serum that causes his heart rate to gradually decrease after an attempt to take an enemy's life is messed up. He is forced to keep his adrenaline up and cause his heart to continue pumping, eventually having to fight with gangsters, robbing shops, driving cars through shopping centres etc. He even makes love to his girlfriend, who he fetched so that the bad guys couldn't get to her, to keep his heart rate up.
Towards the ending, Chev meets with the baddies on top of a building and sees the thugs who give him a fake antidote. A few gang members turn up, and a shootout kills many cronies. One of the leaders is killed, while another fellow escapes in a helicopter, with Chev also in the 'copter. As they fight, both fall out, and in midair Chev breaks the gangster's neck. He calls Eve his girlfriend on his handphone and tells her he will not be seeing her again. He hits a car, bounces off it and lands directly in front of the camera. The truth though is that he never died.
A sequel has also come out.
