Well, if anyone is reading this, spread the word. I'm looking for someone to run this forum. Bring it traffic, moderate, etc. Basically, run the place your way. If anyone is interested, please let me know and we can discuss.

Alright, let's see what you can do. Don't really think we need any new forum sections, but if you have suggestions I'm listening. If you can get some traffic going and some discussions, I will make you a moderator. This way you can police the conversations. Right now there is nothing to monitor so... yeah. lol If the place is running and you're keeping it going smooth and clean, I'll upgrade you to admin so you can even more abilities. Hopefully the forum can find new life with someone who can be pashionate about running it.

Well I think you should kill off the Game Help section. Everyone goes to GameFAQs nowadays so it doesn't have much purpose.
Also, this doesn't really matter much but I think Briefing Room should be top on the list and General Discussion on the lower part.
And you should maybe change the names of the sections. General Discussion sounds too generic. Something like Non-Metal Gear and Else should sound better. Any ideas?

Oh I'm flattered ;D
I'd also recommend making a section for user-written articles, like Mad Jackyl's. IMO they deserve a separate spot so they suffice and don't get drowned by other Metal Gear topics.

OK, all good suggestions. I spend a little time and moved a few things around and added categories and new boards. Lemme know what you think. Any and all feedback is welcome. Let's build this thing!

Welcome to the forum! It's not so much about who's cool and who's not. It's about who can get the job done. With my interest in the series declinining over the last few years, it would be in the best interest of the board to have someone run it that can keep it going. That can keep it growing. Who ever can do that would be the right man for the job.

Good changes, A.G.
Now we need people to actually fill the 2 newly created topics about user-made stuff.
Jackyl should find a home in the user-created articles.

I don't like the way the forum is laid out. You want to present the best you've got first and foremost, so "The Arichive Vault" should be towards the bottom (few people want to waste time looking through locked topics.) Each Metal Gear game should have it's own sub-section in "Communications Tower", with the main Communications Tower section serving as a general Metal Gear discussion for things that can't be tied to just one game (for example, discussions on character motivations. Threads about, say, comparing ZEKE to TX-55, however, should be in the PW section, since it has more to do with PW.) And "The Lab" should be moved to "The world OUTSIDE this Heaven" so it can become a general "show off your talents" section. And by talents, I mean music, drawings, videos etc.
Also, yeah, Solid Elman ftw.
