So I was approached by another site to do a Podcast with them. An interesting idea, to be honest. Can't say I like my voice on the mic though. lol Maybe once I get over this cold I'll sound better.
Anyway, I wanted to a test run. I asked for a topic and it was "Raiden in MGS4". So I recorded something on my own and threw some clips together for better presentation. Let me know what you think. In the future this might be recorded along with the guy running the new TUS. So could be a good podcast. I already have a lot of topic ideas.
I also like showing clips of things that I'm talking about. Better than just an audio recording. This way you can really see the points that are being made.

Admittedly, I didn't listen to all of it, but I still have to say: did you record this in an empty auditorium? Too much reverb! The echo effect shouldn't be used. Hmm, you sound a bit different than I might have imagined. I guess I was hoping for Zangief lol!

I have a really crappy mic. So the recording has a lot of static. The echo was used to drown out some of it.  lol As for the Zangief... I can talk with a thick Russian accent. Maybe I will next time! "Zis is zhe Metal Geer Podkast Comrades!" |

Are you thinking of doing anymore Podcasts? I enjoyed your thoughts on MGS4 Raiden, maybe you could do one on the Msx games? Possibly about your disapointment with the expanded games retcons.

Honestly, this is the first request I had to do more. Yeah, I would certainly like to do more. They take a bit of time because I like to use video footage to really show what I'm talking about. But yeah, I'll do some more. I have been really thinking about doing one on the retcons. This series has a lot. I'll come up with something. The MSX ones I might do later in the year when the HD Collection comes out. Any other topics you'de be interested in? |

Another one maybe your thoughts on the Development of Snake's Characterisation from game to game, From Young Snake 2d to Old Snake HD.
Or one on your collection, Which is amazing by the way! (or maybe a page on your site for that?)

Thanks! . I just need to find the time and the desire. I'm 30 years old and Metal Gear isn't really big on my interests anymore. But I did like doing that podcast and I will do more. The other issue is listeners. The forum died so I don't have much of a following anymore. |

With the HD collection coming you might get a few more listeners to it. Pity The Forum has Died but I'm sure you still get plenty of visits to your site though, Its always been my top MG site.
