There's also this video of both the PS2 and PS3 versions played simultaneously in sync with one-another: www.youtube.com/watch?v=rdA_l5FSS18&feature=relatedThere's differences, but I mostly see it in the way colors are rendered and the backgrounds look much more fluid when the camera perspective moves.

That's the 3DS version, not the HD.

Are You guys concerned about the Super Widescreen? I'm Glad the Collection will have the extra features of Substance and Subsistence (VR & MG1 and MG2SS)

Well, the cutscenes will be worse. We liked the originals because we saw what Kojima wanted us to see; angles, zooms, etc... Now we'll see things that we weren't meant to. Same might apply to gameplay.

I can't imagine there being too much we wearnt meant to see so I will stay optimistic, I do see what you mean with it affecting the impact of some scenes though

Look at the screen from MGS2 that shows Vamp and Fortune. It was after the Raiden/Fortune battle and Vamp comes in. In the original they only show half his face when he says "Then he's all mine". And it looked cool. In the HD collection you see his whole face, and it doesn't have the same cool look to the moment.
I'm not saying it will be horrible, but it will have issues. And some might effect the feel of the scenes.

Looks like they might have fixed this problem now anyway.
