Greatest game ever? Really? Can someone please explain to me how it's better or more innovative (or more of a legend) MGS1? I'm not a big Zelda fan, so I'm curious.

You seem to be taking this really far.
Don't take this the wrong way... The video gamer demographic is vast. Beyond what you seem to comprehend. So there are definitely a vast majority of people out there who feel that Ocarina of Time is the "greatest game ever". And they of course have their own reasons for it. Whether you agree with these reasons or not, you should accept that they feel that way. It also doesn't help with your bias.
As an aside, where did you get this contest from anyway? Keep in mind that things like "greatest game ever" are always being held as a contest, on more gaming and general websites than you can count. Don't take the results of just one of these many equivalent contests so seriously.
