Ok, so my all time faveriot character in any MGS game was Psycho Mantis. So about a month ago i ordered a model kit to put together and custom painted. Today i just finished it and i would like to share what ive been working on with the other fans here. So if you like the character Psycho Mantis as much as i do please take a look, and enjoy

Ha, im glad this site isnt as dead as AG said it was, lol. Anyways believe it or not, the material is not made from PVC or plastic. Instead, i made it out of a solid polyurethane resin. Its kinda hard to go into the full details but it was hard. Which is why it took me nearly a month like i said. Then i used a special airbrush and various other techniques and hand painted it on some other of the parts as well. Making a model such as this out of resin material is not as easy as it would sound by the way when you're trying to hand craft the damn thing. But in the end, its all done and i couldnt be any happier and it now sits on top of my shelf with great pride like a badge of honour. Its just that, everyday i like to take a quick glance at it before i head off ya know? Nothing like that feeling of accomplishing something so amazing and near and dear to my heart.
