Looks amazing. I think this could actually be Ludens without the armor. My guess is, he lost his family and was imprisoned and has broken out and now goes on a(nother after MGSV) quest for revenge. Oil seems to play an important role in the game as well as both something that gives life (metaphorically through being injected through the umbinical cable on the child) and also takes life (all the dead maritim life and the disappearing baby itself). Also five floating people in the far distance towards the end seem to be the targets of Ludens revenge. If this sequence is in the actual game, it could be some sort of dream sequence early on. But I'm impressd so far. Could be great. First Kojima directed non-Metal Gear game in over 20 years!
EDIT: Also seems to run on the FOX Engine, despite rumors that Kojima wanted to licence a third-party engine... well, on the other hand, since Konami could still own the FOX Engins, maybe poor Kojima had to licence his own engine from Konami as a third party....
EDIT2: @ A.G.: Also, you have a typo in the thread heading. Sorry to say.

Oops! Fixed.
So far it's just a crazy cutscene. I need to see more of the story and gameplay. Right now it doesn't interest me. One of my biggest gripes with Kojima is that as time went on he got further and further away from realistic behavior and more into needlessly dramatic overacting. MGS4 had some of it but it got worse after that. This trailer stank of that.

I misread you in your first post. I read you were excited to play it. Well, I think the overacting is just more apparent, because game characters are more lifelike. In MGS3 there are also some scenes, with reactions that would be strange in real life, but are acceptable, because they come from not so detailed polygon models.

Oh ceratainly, older games also had them. But the overall balance favored realism. The further he went the more silly the drama looked.

I also think the less expressive facial animations warranted more exaggerated body language. Also, kabuki had a huge influence on japanese acting. While I have to admit there where some awkward moments in MGSV (Quiet's arrival at MB. Check out the soldiers and their timing as well as Miller's and Ocelot's awkward pauses.) I think overall it was ok. Also, I think Death Stranding did pretty well on that department. Mind you, that there was no dialogue in the trailer and it still told us a lot about the main character.
