Most powerful Avenger?

Some rules here:

- I'm ONLY judging from Endgame. Didn't see the comics, so they are NOT considered here.

- I know Thor ALMOST killed Thanos in the previous movie, but he's been somewhat made less powerful here.

- Tony Stark was instrumental in defeating the bad guys at least twice but I'm looking at the other heroes as well. Not sure who defeated them in Age of Ultron.

Yeah, Thor is a good bet, especially wielding Mjolnir and later his axe. Cap also, once he acquires Mjolnir.

Other than that my bet goes to Captain Marvel as the most powerful of the heroes in the MCU.

However, since power levels aren't always portrayed consistently (In Age of Ultron Thor and Cap do about the same amount of damage to the Ultron bots) and it's more about the drama, I don't think you should think about that too much.

This youtube guy actually pointed out that Thanos, even with 4 stones, was rather threatened by Strange on Titan. And the good doctor only had ONE stone!

It's even possible that the Galaxy Guardians, the Supreme Sorcerer, our friendly neighbourhood webslinger and Tony Stark could even have stopped the Mad Titan, had Star Lord not been so impulsive as to suckerpunch their opponent.

Captain Marvel or Dr. Strange. She definitely has more assault power. But Strange can teleport you anywhere and end the fight. Still, he struggled with Thanos’ magic henchman.

Well Strange made Ebony damned frustrated in New York. And like I said, he was more than a match on Titan when Thanos himself was battling him.
