Incredible!
I remember seeing various Metal Gear trailers that hyped me for the next PlayStation. MGS2 at E3 2000 for the PS2. MGS4 at TGS 2005 for PS3. Even the Ground Zeroes trailer for the PS4. PS5 certainly looks impressive! It will be the first system I buy without a Metal Gear title.

Hihi, at 5:35 the cockroaches are back! Honestly, how great is it, that video games look like this? Remember the days on the PSX, when characters were blocky potatoes in front of pre-rendered backgrounds? (unless you were Metal Gear, Dino Crisis, and a few others).
EDIT: The game itself (if it is actually one) also looks really cool. Take Tomb Raider, mix it with Stargate and good dose of Avatar: The Last Airbender, and you got a cocktail I might like.

Personally, I’m ready for something new. Metal Gear is done. Uncharted is done. I would love to start something brand new with the PS5. A new chapter!

There's always something new I am really interested what developers will do with the new power. Sure, we will see Uncharted-esque adventures like the one here, just with more graphical fidelity and more open levels. However, imagine that calculating power applied to enemy A.I. while having a game with PS4-like graphics? (I still have some games I want to catch up to. I am currently finishing Spider-Man, which really surprised me with its gameplay and story and made me remember how much I liked this character as a kid. I still have a few other games sitting on the shelf: Rise of the Tomb Raider and Shadow of the Tomb Raider, God of War 2018, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, Days Gone, and - as I mentioned once, even The Last of Us which I never finished.)

What are your thoughts on the new Tomb Raider series compared to the old games? And what about Drake or Lara Croft comparison? Who is more badass, considering their skills in different aspects like stealth, gunfights, grenades, agility etc?

Never got into Tomb Raider. I’m all all about Uncharted. Drake for the win.

I've played Tomb Raider 2013 and also some of the older ones, both from Core Design and Crystal Dynamics. The old Core Design ones (on PSX) were groundbreaking, but are hopelessy outdated nowadays. Tomb Raider 2013 I actually really enjoyed. Personally, I think the game had much better gameplay than Uncharted. More precise controls, better puzzles, more variety. In terms of Gameplay Lara Croft outclasses Nathan Drake in every way. However, the story was serviceable at best, the characters nowhere near as likable and interesting as Uncharted and the setting was too dark and gory for my taste. There were sections in the game where I thought I played The Evil Within rather than Tomb Raider. The earlier Crystal Dynamics trilogy (Legend .- Anniversary - Underworld) was a good middle ground. Combat wasn't great, but puzzles and climbing and the setting were cool. And the story also was much better to the 2013 title, though I wouldn't say they hold a candle to Nathan Drake. So Gameplay: Tomb Raider 2013 > Uncharted > Tomb Raider Crystal dynamics >>>>>>> Tomb Raider Core Design Story/ Setting: Uncharted > Tomb Raider Crystal Dynamics > Tomb Raider 2013 = Tomb Raider Core Design I somehow like it that they allow players to control Lara Croft, naked xD What are you, twelve?

I was making a joke, because as a guy in my 30s with a fiancé, I don't need to play as a naked Lara Croft, thank you. So, I was (jokingly) asking you, if you are 12 that you (seem to) want that.

It's sarcasm that I meant in the original post. Besides, GTA had the hot coffee mod (not that people would play the game for that crap)
Also who do you think is more badass, Drake or Croft?

Hmm, more "badass", I'd say Lara Croft, especially the Core Design incarnation... but Drake wasn't designed to be "badass", but to be a likable everyman. That being said, I greatly prefer Nathan Drake as a character. Naughty Dog just nailed him in pretty much every way. He is probably one of the most human and relatable protagonists I've seen in gaming; felt like a good friend by the end of the series. EDIT: Now, the true question is - who do you like more? Nathan Drake... or Indiana Jones?! xD I honestly don't think I can answer that one, but I have a tendency...

Well, you can always play as Naked Raiden in MGS2! lol
Indiana is the original! I love Nathan Drake, but Dr. Jones will always be number 1. Speaking of which, enjoy! Watch to the very end of the video, there is a bonus!

Death battle with Nathan and Lara
Watchmojo's comparison
Both of them insist that Lara would win over Drake. Watchmojo in particular points out how she is always evolving and has more survival skills.
There's also a Snake v Sam Fisher duel, which is hilarious.

Saw both Death Battles when they came out. The Snake vs Sam was very well done.
Didn’t care for the ending of Nate vs Lara though. I would be ok with her getting the win but the way they did it was dumb. The helicopter killed him. lol It was disappointing. I think a more appropriate ending, if they wanted to avoid her dealing the killing blow, would be both trying to escape a trap. She narrowly makes it and he doesn’t. That way it plays to her greater experience.
