Well here's an interesting article contending that America is no longer as super-powered as we think it is. It might not be absolutely true but it's food for thought. The author insists that China is now able to challenge the USA in military power. www.news.com.au/world/north-america/the-us-could-no-longer-win-a-war-against-china/news-story/6dea70747914fa1f1984b1c2bc2502d5So battleships were the king of naval warfare, and now they're rendered useless with submarine development. (Case in point, the Bismark) The article also said how carriers are just as outdated. Any thoughts? Is it possible that a REAL Metal Gear threat would soon surface?

Well Russians already showed a bipedal tank at a military show. I posted it here a while back.
As for super power status, I’m not sure it matters. If it comes down to nukes, nobody wins. US, Russia and China can destroy the planet several times over. It really doesn’t matter who has more.

Today terrorism is the far bigger threat. Enemies are no longer on a map. They hide in plain sight. That’s the frightening part.
