So an interesting thought that comes out of the secret tapes in MGS5. The common assumption was the ending showed Kojima as Big Boss talking to the player who is Venom. What if that’s not the case? What if Kojima is actually Zero. Someone who lost all control. Seems possible...

Interesting parallel indeed... Does he say anything meaningful to the player or Big Boss?
I think it's actually another interesting use of the parasite theme: like a parasite, Skull Face gradually took over Cipher and usurped Zero from within. It's also what Palpatine did in the Star Wars prequels... and Hitler and the NSDAP in Germany... and if we aren't careful, Björn Höcke and the AfD in Germany again.
