In a possibly vain attempt to shake things up and get people talking about stuff beyond Metal Gear, Kojima and Corona, I've created this thread. Basically, tell or show us about something you've seen/ experiences (whether on the internet or in real life) that is so outrageous that if someone would tell you you wouldn't believe it. So without further ado, I humbly submit my first entry, namely, licensing boldly going where it hasn't quite gone before: with the Playmobil USS Enterprise NCC-1701
I'm a huge Star Trek fan and even when everyone is complaining about the new shows since Star Trek: Discovery, I still find a lot of enjoyment with them. You know me, I'm a quite forgiving fan^^ ANyway, a Lego Enterprise wouldn't have surprised me... in fact, there already exists one from Mega Bloks, I think, and it looked gorgeous. And I've also noticed, Playmobil has dabbled in the licensing game that Lego has been playing for over two decades now. I also wouldn't even have been that shaken, if it were Star Trek Discovery march or an entire lineup of Trek Playmobil March, but no... they JUST announced a massive USS Enterprise from the 55-year-old original show! All 7 crew members included! Lots of detail. And 500,-$ This is an actual collector's item from playmobil! And no other sets in sight! Just. This. One. Thing. Well, now I have one more thing I can throw away my hard-earned money and annoy my wife with in our not-so-spacey (pun not really intended) appartment. xD
