I remember seeing the first MGS3 trailer back in 2003… here we are, 20 years later and we are seeing a new Snake Eater trailer! So… Snake Eater remake: And we also get the original games in a Master Collection. I read another article that said the Japanese recordings will be used from the original game, since some actors died. I expect the same to be the same for English as well. Since the remake is shot for shot, I expect them to use original recordings. Besides, re-recording that much dialogue is expensive. This would be the cheapest and safest way. We don’t need another Twin Snakes fiasco.
I’m excited about this! At the very least we get the first 5 games on modern systems! Now just need them to get MGS4 off the PS3!

Don’t recall where I read it.
The issue with Twin Snakes is that they brought back the original cast and re-recorded the dialogue, but the delivery was bad. A lot over and under acting. It was noticeably bad compared to the original.

I think it's awesome and am really looking forward to it. As Long as they keep the original around (which they do) I am open for almost any changes. I suspect they will release this next fall for the 20th anniversary?

That’s my guess too. Next November is 20 years. And I would love to see more areas. The story can stay as is, but give us more areas to explore. Like open up all those gates in Grosniy Grad.
