Yes, he does get over-excessive with his cutscenes, but I like them for their charisma and I like the stories he tells in his games. I don't like the cutscene/gameplay ratio at times (especially in the early moments of his games), but rather than going on a rant about why his games suck, I chose to enjoy them with their flaws anyway. If you can't do that, just stop playing them.
Besides, it looks like The Phantom Pain will be less reliable on overbearing cutscenes. So, I guess, you can cheer up. And I'm betting some people will actually give Kojima crap for reducing the cutscenes. Haters gonna hate. He can't please everyone possible and still, everyone seems to expect him to.
I'm just hoping the gameplay is great, we get a great story, some great characters and that familiar mix of quirky moments with really heart-wrenching serious ones.
As for your list of... contra-Kojima-points (?): Stuff gets cut from games and movies during developement all the time! There can be many reasons. For instance, the original PlayStation had very limited capabilities and Kojima couldn't realize everything he wanted to in early development, so some things got cut. It's business as usual for any kind of creative work really. I don't know, if you have ever done anything like editing a video or writing a story. During a work in progress, not everything always works. You might feel the ending to your story is too bleak or a scene just doesn't accomplish what you wanted it to, so you rewrite or reedit it or - god behold - you cut stuff. It's an organic process and while you don't have to agree with all of Kojima's decisions (I don't), in the case of Metal Gear, bitching about the fact, that he does change things mid-developement, itself is - again - just silly.
