Dude, that picture shows when BB is still sayni "Not yet", but eventually he disappears. Didnt you read what it said?

Big Boss even burns different colors and says 'Not Yet!' right before burning up completely and disappearing. It's strange because later games make reference to Big Boss's remains, and this game seems to show that there aren't any left. Oh, whatever.

So in other words, HK has made a big mistake, but hey not everyone is perfect.

I don't think it was a mistake just like it was the way they were animated as dieing.

I totally agree with you The Soldier! I'm saying he's still alive waiting for the right moment to fight Solid Snake. Remember his last words. And 1 hell of a show would it be if Ocelot/Liquid would join the fight! ;D

And if he's dead then why would they show him on the MGS4 website? I know they also showed his picture in the MGS1 manual while he wasn't even in MGS1 but that was because a lot of people didn't know about MG and MG2:SS and needed a little background info.

i think it's safe to assume that all the characters in the artwork are alive and well in mgs 4. Snake burned the hell out of big boss but his "death" wasn't exactly conventional. Unless a bullet is wedged into his forhead....multiple times, i don't see how big boss would die by todays' videogame standards.

just as a side note

do u guys see a correlation between vamp and grey fox? other than the similar fighting styles. I just see vamp surviving the series just to get a chance to fight raiden. to feel pain, the whole thing. Raiden was the only person that really got close to beating him, i can see him going to raiden for another taste.
