well kojima said that the ps3 would be a new start on the MGS Franchise and that may even mean mgs5?

Kind of an unfounded idea. Considering that MGS4 is still in the very basic stages of development. MGS4 could easily wrap up the entire series, so it's pretty unsafe to say that MGS5 will exist.

Quite frankly, I would prefure for the series to be wrapped up after MGS4. I don't want it to linger and get sour. Although, I have thought about making my own Metal Gear game. I tried making a Snake sprite today, but I wasn't very good at making Snake for some reason. Couldn't get the suit right...hmm...gives me an idea...I might just try and do it but be rid of the "Sneaking Suit" and maybe give him fatigues...

I wouldnt mind MGS10 ;D
A new series wouldnt be to bad like More BB game or Grey Fox etc MG legends.... etc

You know, that's what I always think.
FF1 was created as the last game for the company and look at it now.
I am just imagining MGS10 or MGS7.

well its a quadrilogy now with MGS4, but what does five make it? fiverilogy? oh whats the name...
anyway id hate to see another 'Solid' on a title, anyone know of any other substances? Acid and Solid are taken, Metal Gear Liquid sounds crap and Metal Gear Gas is out of the question, anyone up for Metal Gear Compound?
