Does anyone else notice that Snake is the ONLY one that actually aged a lot since MGS/MGS2?
Look at Raiden, not too much older. Meryl, Naomi, and Cambell haven't aged much since MGS1. Ocelot looks old, but he already was in MGS2.
Really, Snake is the ONLY one that aged that much! Even the technology doesn't seem that "futuristic". The the Gekkou are advanced, but not to far ahead of the mass-produced RAYs.
The game has to take place just a few years after Big Shell. But then what gives with Snake? It's gotta be that whole "death on a genetic level" thing. That's the only way.

Yup, that's easy to figure out. Also, FOXDIE could still be active inside of him and might be affecting his age more as well.

Oh, you know Kojima.
He will have a perfectly logical explination for it.

He did show signs in MGS2 and including what Liquid said to him on the Tanker. Signs as in after Vamp left Raiden and Snake and he nearly fell on the steps.

He feel on the steps due to loss of blood. It had nothing to do with aging. Vamp cut him really bad on the arm.

It could be little hint that Snake could of said "lost a few more pints then I should" and just hide the fact of this aging but who knows; Blood is blood.

snake is a clone of big boss, which is why he supposedly 'ages' faster. liquid would be like that too, if he was in human form instead of inside of ocelot.
that's why solidus also seemed so old in mgs2

No, Solidus was made look old by the Patriots. Otherwise he coulnd't become president.
But it's confirmed now... This is definetly the last Metal Gear game for Snake, and I think we'll even see him die in this one.

We dont.
I really think the mission starts off with snake wanting to kill himself. And then deciding he still has more things to do.

I always thought it odd in MGS2 Liquid was saying he looked old but he looked like a man should look his age (mid to late 30's)
His ageing is similar to Dolly the sheep and some other cloned animals which aged faster than Normal.

Snake isn't going to die. Kojima confirmed that already last year.

Then what about the "you have six more months to live" thing. Snake may not actually die IN the game, but he will for sure pass away not long after.
