Since Snake has been aging extraordinarily fast in so short a time, does that mean that that is going to happen to the Genome soldiers and the Gulf War Babies. If so I feel a lot more sympathetic to Liquids plan in MGS 1.

Or realizes that's what the Patriots would want. That would be an awesome scene what you guys have been describing. There's Snake, the camera pans out just slightly and it's just him sitting there with the gun barrel in his mouth... Maybe you could hear his thoughts at this point, since you are essentially Snake, and he'd be going back and forth with himself saying the same thing..."What's the use...." then "No...not yet." If you pull the trigger, a Game Over screen comes up and you'd have to play the scene again until you got it right. If you don't pull the triggger, eventually he snaps to, tosses the gun aside in disgust and says "No, the Patriots would probably want this. I'm the only one who can still stop them. I can't give up now." And then he'd become reinvigorated with a new sense of purposefulness. Thats what i was thinking. That scene would most probly be after the mission starts and he realises he is too old for the battlefield. This of course is after seeing raiden smash the living f...ck out of the MG's, thats when he knows he is old. Who wouldnt want to kill themselves after seeing the bitch raiden (who normally sucks cock and who you helped complete his misson) now kicking ass and being a million times better than you. |

A valid point indeed. And I think the trailer does a good job of showing it. Snake had to scramble for his life against just two (hell, actually he couldn't even take 1). Then we see Raiden take out a battalion of them.

We dont. I really think the mission starts off with snake wanting to kill himself. And then deciding he still has more things to do. Actually I think you're wrong on this one, in the 2005 mgs4 trailer you see that snake has started his mission and he doesn't have any scares on his face but in the e3 2006 trailer in the scene where he puts his pistol in his mouth in an attempt to kill him self you see a scare on the right side of his face... |

I saw on wikipedia they mention Snakes age being 43 (same age as Kojima) , based off a recent interview with Kojima, thats set 6 years after Big Shell.
