If you guys got time, please just write what you think about the Swedish culture, the swedish women, the swedish lifestyle and the swedish language. Just write whatever you think of when you think of sweden, okay? You don't have to be serious, but don't make anything totally stupid. In case you're wondering, I have to write a brochure about Sweden in englishclass. If you want your name in it, please include it in your post.

Swedish women are hot, seen some fine THANGS on a cruise ship several times... Swedish language.. well, it is kinda nice, but I hate to study it. Don't know about the swedish lifestyle tho.. but I assume it's pretty much like the finnish lifestyle? Could be, not sure.

They have those little guys who sit on mountain in Lederhousin with a giant horn and yell "Recola" or something and then blow it. They also have goats and cheese. Women in pigtails dancing about in puffy dresses, too!

What's your opinion on Swedish famous people, like Ingemar Bergam, Peter Stormare, Stellan Skarsgård, Björn Borg... Anyone you know?

I got a friend who's Swedish. His family is very nice and he tells me a lot about Sweden to. The weather is cold most of the times and the people there are nice. You can find a lot of nature there, forests, lakes, etc.
And we all remember Pippi Longstocking don't we... We all watched it a few times, be honest. And I heard that Christmas in Sweden is the best Christmas you can ever imagine!
I also see a lot of things in my friends house that are probably Swedish traditions. One day, around Christmas time his sister was dressed in white with a crown of candles and my friend was wearing a white dress with a crown of golden stars and they singed a song for us. We all were very young and I didn't realize it was tradition that young kids do in Sweden. It had something to do with the shortest day of the winter. ;D

Sweden rocks! Not just because the great TBOL lives there , but also because it is a very beautiful country. The language is great and not all to dificult to understand. The women are, well, you all know the reputation of Scandinavian women. I went there on holiday last year, and I'm planning to go again this year! Sweden rules!

Otty, what you're describing must be Lucia. Isn't that tradition in all countries? When she died, to honor that or something?

Yes, Saint Lucia! I only saw it once... I think it's only a tradition in Sweden.
