Who works out?
I've been having more time since I quit my second job. Not too bad. I got some weights at home and me my g/f have been hitting them routinely in the last month or so.
My warm up benching starts with 135 lb (getting too easy nowdays since I can do 15 reps with it). Then I do some sets with 160 lb or just do a rep or two with 200 lb.
Curls, my small bar only goes up to 100 lb, so I use that for 7-10 reps.
My g/f is tackling much smaller weights, but 15 lb dumbels are her usual now. She doesn't bench, but uses 40 lb for curls and military presses.
Overall, it's great activitiy to do together.
With my work out goal I want 200 lb to be my usual weight (at least 10 reps) by Christmas. At 6'1 and 210, Snake better watch out! ;D

Our routine is 6 days a week. 3 for weights and 3 for cardio/running. It works.

I work out 3-4 times a week. Don't do as much cardio as I used to. It's a compromise there, size or endurance.
I'm a hair under 6'2" and can't quite make 190 lbs. My goal is to be an even 200.
I've really been working on getting my squat weight up. A few weeks ago I was doing 8 reps of 275 (not bad!) but then I was overburdened with school and didn't go to the gym save once or twice for the next two weeks and I'm back at 245. My goal by the end of the year is squatting 300 and benching about 185. I'd say bench is my weakest point.

I was at 187 for the longest times and then April to August I just jumped to the 210 range... oh well. I always wanted to be over 200 lb. LOL
The problem I have with benching is my wrists. I have gloves with wrist guards but I'm still not used to that much weight on the wrists. That's why I slowly built up to the 200 lb. I can do the weight now, but it hurts. So I'm slowly working up, getting comfortable with the weights I'm using first. Once I can do 10-15 reps with a weight I up it 10 lb or so. This way the strength increase is gradual and the body adjusts to it. Last week I hurt my forearm doing 100 lb curls. I was trying to max out my arms, but the forearm gave out before the bicep did... I'm gonna take it easier on the curls until it heals up some.

Damn, 100 lb. curls - you're nuts, man! I never try to max out on weight when doing curls, I just do 30 lbs. with several sets of 8-12 reps.

The thing to remember is
Less weight + More reps = toning More weight + Less reps = size
When I do the heavy weights it's 5-7 reps. I use 25 lb dumbelss for toning and the 100 lb bar for heavy lifting.
Now, for your curls, you do 30 lb bar or dumbells?

I don't use weights when I work out, and I don't know if "work out" is what to describe my training with. I just do some exercises to get my blood going in my veins. Mostly push-ups and sit-ups and something for my back and legs, that's it. I can do practically how many sit-ups I want know and normally I do fifty push-ups in one go. But I can only do five one hand push-ups, so I'm doing that as often as I can. My goal is to be able to jump between single hands, if you know what I mean?

Rocky style!
How much do you weigh?
For me and Jackyl one hand pushups would probably be somewhat tough having 200 lb frames. I gotta try it see if I can do them.

AG: 30 lb. dumbells is what I use for biceps. I do preacher curls too using a 55 lb. barbell there.
For the life of me, I'm strong enough, I'm sure, but I can't get the balance or something right for one-armed pushups. Maybe it is my weight afterall?

I keep falling down as well. Form is vital, but you and I maybe too heavy at this point. Or simply not strong enough to do it with the weight we are at.

I had some problem with my balance too in the beginning. When I started doing one hand push-ups, I sort of put my whole weight on one hand, which was tough as hell. Now I can keep my body straight like when I'm doing normal push-ups, but with one hand.
I weigh 65 kg. Don't know how that translate into lb or what you call it, sorry.

65kg is 143 lb. At my 210 lb I'm about 95 kg. 1 hand push ups are fairly hard to do.

I'm doing a 3 week weight section in Gym right now, and I signed up for Weight Lifting after school. I almost pumped 120lbs. And I do 50 push-ups and 80 crunches a day.
