Ill give you an example of the analouge to digital transition.
Australias domenant pay tv provider FOXTEL changed from analouge broadcasting to digital 2 years ago.
But 1 year prior to that they had a dedicated information channel and advertisments on every channel about the new digital service and how it will effect you and what you need to do to ensure you get it etc.
Because with FOXTEL you have to use a Set Top Box they sent out all these new set top box's to all its customers (because the old box's were analouge box's.).
These new set top box's recive digital signals and make them compatable on your TV.
This will happen to everyone in 2008 with Free TV but those with HDTV's will not need to purchase a digital set top box but everyone with the old TV's WILL.
And if you would just research HDTV you will know this.

HDTV will be set as standard broadcasting sometime in 2008 and to view it you must either have a HDTV or a Digital Set Top Box.

Well for the record do you agree with me or what? HDTV will be set as standard broadcasting sometime in 2008 and to view it you must either have a HDTV or a Digital Set Top Box. For the record, I don't give a sh*t and think it's absolutely pointless to get so defensive over an issue so unimportant as what kind of TVs people own. |

Whoooaa jesus christ do you all fight over trivial matters so much on here??? Now I see why the Soldier, left the forum geez....Anyway the XBox360 Im sure is going to be a pretty nice system maybe not anything compared to the PS3 ofcourse but still its going to be quite good.

Anyway 360 seems good but it really seems to be real good in terms of online but the games don't seem to be that high of quality. |
