Another prequel? Or could be MG remake seeing how hes got the Outer Heaven logo on his cap? Either im excited. At first I didnt any more sequels or prequels but this could be the game that fills the missing gap where BB goes from hero to villain (like Darth Vader!) plus it could be a great chance for Zero to get some character development. One of my bigger gripes is they made Zero into such a bad guy when he got no character development whatsoever and when he got screetime he was the coolest guy to talk to and was even a comic relief at times kotaku.com/5270977/kojima-productions-updates-site-with-big-bossHe looks badass.

HOLY sh*t! If the pictures don't load then you can find them here: wiieveryday.blogspot.com/The letters above the beret logo read 'Militaires Sans Frontieres'. Which is French for 'Soldiers Without Borders'. Also, is that part of the world map seen in the skull?

I wonder what Kojima's talking about in that interview. Full magazine scans can be found here: wiieveryday.blogspot.com/So far we got the letters/numbers: R, E, e, S or 5, and a flipped E or 3. And extra letters/numbers seen in the magazine: 6, C, R, O or 0. By the way, the countdown leads to Microsoft's press conference. And we do have the hinted numbers 3, 6, and 0. This could mean that a new Metal Gear will be on the Xbox 360. What the other letters stand for is still a mystery.

Dissapointing.... Raiden?! C'mon!!! His stuff is over in MGS4. And Big Boss... Ugh!...

I don't get how there can be both Raiden and a young Big Boss. That doesn't make any sense at all.

Certainly doesn't. We got Big Boss from the Outer Have era, which is early to mid 90's, and Cyborg Raiden with a missing eye, from the post 2014 period. That's two decades appart!
While I could've stomached another prequel with Big Boss, I simply can no believe Kojima is bringing Raiden back. MGS4 gave him closure with what he always wanted, a family. Why drag this character back?! So stupid!

According to the translations on GameTrailers.com it says that there will be 2 games, one for the PSP and one for the PS3. And that they're somehow connected.

Ohhh... big shock! Things are just getting better and better. Lets see if I can take a wild stab about this: First we'll be getting MGS5 starting cyborg Raiden which will likely be a prequel to MGS4 showing Raiden taking Big Boss' body and getting his cybernetics from Madnar. The Second game is MPO2 starting Big Boss in his formation of Outer Heaven. How are the two connected you might ask? Well, both have to do with Big Boss and both will be canon. So... yeah... there we have it. MPO 2 and MGS 5. I would like to hit Kojima with a car at this point!

Hey, don't jump to conclusions! Otty didn't even provide a link, and from someone who have read what he's refering to, I can say it sounds very fishy and it's just speculation on the author's part.
And ask yourself, why the hell would they make so amazing character renders of a character who will only star in a PSP game.

We heard earlier that there will be a game for the PS3 and the PSP.
So? The MPO Big Boss promotional model was great, easily on par with the MGS3. I see no reason why they can't make one good closeup for a promotional image. It's not screenshot, afterall, just a promotinal teaser.

Maybe it's just my comp. (doubt it) but the countdown clock is now UP to 100 hours..
Also; the rain could mean the presence of The Sorrow...

How do you figure? What possible connection does that have with... anything? Heck, if it's raining maybe it also means they're remaking the Tanker part of MGS2! ;D

In MGS3, every time The Sorrow is shown, it begins to rain and storm, remember the boss 'battle'?
Not having played MGS4, the upcoming games could shed some light on how Ocelot (being the son The Sorrow and The Boss) was able to 'summon' Liquid to his arm. I know I should tread lightly since I'm not up to date with the MG canon.
