If you look at the baby's character design, you can see it's definately not final. It was probably just made to say to us that there will be a baby involved.
So who's the baby? I doubt Raiden would take his own son/daughter into battle. Rose could babysit. But everyone says Olga's child would be too old.
So let's say Olga's child would be like three. Would you let a three year old run around by himself on a battlefield, or would you carry him?
So the child in Raiden's arms looks young, but as I said, I think it's an early sketch of the baby. No, not even an early sketch. Just a drawing of a baby to let us know there will be a baby involved.
By the way, Arsenal or Jackyl, doesn't the baby resemble a Snatcher? ;D The baby could be there for more of a symobolic reason. Raiden could be a very protective father or something. It's the character art, it doesn't always reflect the character in the game exacly image wise. |

Man, I can see it. The baby is in danger. Snake is about to save the baby. Raiden sticks the blade in Snakes butt. Snake yells "You're changing sides now you stupid son of a bitch as motherf...cker!" Raiden replies coldly with a calm voice: "Change sides? I don't recall saying I was on yours.". Peace.

Yeah, impossible for someone who was considered the best soldier in his unit and nicknamed "Jack the Ripper" and "White Devil". There is no way he could of killed a polatician with increased aging. thanks for the "optimism".... hmmm...i was thinking that tactical reload should be removed....it simply takes the realism and the challenge out of metal gear games, as well as the strategy. Just seems like i'm playing time crisis. It's useful but why create reload animations when u can just put ur gun away and have it magically reload itself. |

To be honest, I don't use the tactical reload a lot. I like seeing Snake reload his weapon in the heat of the battle. It adds to the excitement.

I hardly use tactical reload, I usually just un-equip my weapons when I am not fighting, I usually don't do much fighting anyway. The only time I really use tactical reload much is when I was fighting the Shagohod, usually only with missile launchers, or I do it without realizing, yeah, I sometimes use it, but taking cover and reloading as a guard walks past is cool. However, a tactical reload in between fighting is a different story, as that is actually stratigic.

after reading that, i'm getting all sorts of questions popping up in my head. since the patriots are no longer physical beings really, then how will snake fight them? through the internet or something? how do you hide in cyberspace? maybe big boss' corpse holds the key to finding/destroying the patriots? if that is his corpse and he's not alive, is he cryogenically frozen? why would they freeze him in the nude but leave the eye patch? |
